Brett Billings, FNP-C

Brett Billings is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and the founder of Rise Direct Primary Care.

After nearly a decade working in the emergency department, Brett pursued his passion for longitudinal, relationship-based care by earning his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Arlington's nurse practitioner program.

It was during his years in a traditional insurance-based primary care setting that Brett recognized a growing disconnect between the care he wanted to give and the care the system allowed. That frustration became the motivation to build something different — a practice where patients come first, visits aren't rushed, and the focus is on genuine partnership. Rise Direct Primary Care was born from that vision!

Brett takes a holistic approach to wellness, working with men, women, and children with a particular emphasis on Men's Health. With nearly 15 years of medical experience spanning emergency and primary care, he brings both clinical depth and heartfelt dedication to every patient relationship.

Outside the clinic, Brett is a devoted husband and active father to three energetic boys. You'll often find him outdoors with his family, leading by example when it comes to health and an active lifestyle.

Staci Antaya, FNP-C

Staci Antaya is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Rise Direct Primary Care. Staci cares for men, women, and children, with a special focus on perimenopause and menopause care.

Staci has called the Rogue Valley home — and cared for patients here — for more than 20 years! Staci earned her MSN from Frontier Nursing University and her BSN from the University of Providence in Montana, then completed an Advanced Practitioner Residency at La Clinica here in the valley. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent two decades as a nurse in local hospitals and clinics — in oncology, emergency medicine, post-anesthesia care, and hospice — work that taught her to listen closely and stay present with people during the moments that matter most. She believes perimenopause and menopause are too often dismissed or under-treated. Irregular cycles, hot flashes, disrupted sleep, mood changes, brain fog, shifting weight, and long-term bone and heart health all deserve real attention — not a five-minute visit and a shrug. Staci takes time to understand each patient’s full picture and build a plan around it.

“I believe in listening, effective communication, educating, and treating the whole person,” she says. Longer visits and direct access mean she can build genuine partnerships with her patients — the kind where people feel known.

Outside the clinic, Staci enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
