Rise direct primary care
The Direct Primary Care Difference
Members of Rise Direct Primary Care enjoy direct access to their provider, extended appointment times, in-person and virtual visits, minor urgent needs taken care of in-office, and same or next-day appointments.
Preventative Care
Our providers focus first on prevention. This includes appropriate health screenings and lifestyle counseling.
Virtual Appointments
We get it: sometimes coming into the office is not possible! We offer virtual visits to all of our members when necessary.
Urgent Visits
We strive to be as available as possible for our patients. This includes offering select, minor urgent care needs to be treated in office, same or next-day, included in your membership!
Care Coordination
Your Rise provider is able to refer you to appropriate specialists when needed. If you still have health insurance, you should be able to use it for your specialty needs.
Cost Savings
Our members save with in-office lab draws, select medications, and low or no-cost in-office procedures. We will also work to help you find the best deals on diagnostics required outside of the office.
Direct Access to Your Provider
Rise Primary Care members are provided with the direct phone number of their provider and are encouraged to text or call when a need arises. We're here to help!

"Easy, so convenient and the best care. Having tailored care to my health and goals is a game changer. Not waiting for weeks and having access to a provider changes healthcare and I’ll never go back to a “normal” clinic. So grateful for Rise."
"Brett is one of the best, he has always been so great with treating my kids. Our entire family sees him and I do not have any complaints. He listens, reassures me and doesn’t make me feel like our visits need to be rushed. He always makes sure that we don’t have any questions or concerns before leaving his office. So happy to be apart of his new practice!"
FAQ
No. It is important to understand that DPC is not insurance, and would not be able to cover any costs outside of our office. We recommend that our members keep their insurance plan, or that uninsured members seek out at least a catastrophic insurance plan for insurance coverage. DPC alone does not fulfill the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
There is no limit on appointments for our members. We encourage our members to come in at least once a year for a wellness check, and to send us an appointment request whenever any other needs arise throughout the year. We will work with you to decide if your appointment should be in-office, virtual, or a quick check-in over the phone!
For new patient appointments, we block off 1.5 hours for the face-to-face portion of the exam and intake. We want to know about your health, your goals, your kids, your dog…our favorite part about DPC is having the time to give you time! Sequential appointment times will vary, but are usually allowed 1 hour.
Absolutely! But we do ask our members to be mindful when communicating outside of normal business hours. Our typical process is to read every request we receive outside of business hours, and respond to truly urgent needs right away. If something is middle-of-the-night urgent, we suggest our members consider urgent care or the emergency room.
Conditions that are commonly managed for our members and are included in their memberships are: Physical exams, Migraines, Blood Pressure, Thyroid, Fatigue, Diabetes, Nausea, Diarrhea, Pap Smear, Postpartum Depression, Abdominal Pain, Chron’s Disease, UC, GERD, Diverticulitis, Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Rashes, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Hormone replacement therapy, Grave’s Disease, Cough, Asthma, Bronchitis, Cold and Flu, Adrenal Dysfunction, PCOS, Menopause, Allergies, Sinus infection, Ear infections, and more!
By having direct access to their providers, patients in direct primary care practices receive more personalized and prompt care. Because of this, studies show that patients in DPC practices experience, on average, 54% fever ER visits and 25% fewer hospitalizations.
No. By not accepting insurance, we are able to see fewer patients, and in turn, ensure our members receive unparalleled access to care.
We will cap each providers’ patient panel at 500 primary care patients. This is far below the national average panel size for primary care providers of 1,900 patients. This allows us to respond to your requests quickly, and provide appointments on short notice!
No. There are some small costs associated with select in-office procedures and tests, but most of these are included in your membership. You will always be made aware of any extra costs associated with procedures and tests during your visit (i.e. labs, select medications), and given the option to decline if you choose. We have worked hard to get the most affordable pricing, and are pleased to extend lower-cost deals on procedures, medications, and select diagnostics to our members!
Rise Direct Primary Care is able to take care of up to 90% of your healthcare needs.
